YEO SIAK GOON (杨昔银) was born in Malaysia in 1957. Since moving to Singapore at 14 years old to study Art, he has continued residing here. Yeo has developed his own unique modern yet timeless style which sets him apart from other artists of his generation. Over the years, Yeo has represented Singapore in several exhibitions overseas, held in China, Japan, Korea, France and New York. He has received three Tan Tsze Chor Awards as well as the First Prize in UOB’s Painting of the Year competition.
Yeo’s works have been collected by the National Gallery Singapore, ARMA Museum in Bali, Four Seasons Hotel in Chicago USA, United Overseas Bank, International Enterprise Singapore, IBM Singapore, American Club, Cathay Organization, Pontiac Land, and Capella Singapore as well as by several other private collectors locally and overseas.
